It’s tradition to have homemade ice cream on the Fourth of July and I don’t plan on that changing, well, ever. My very favorite ice cream in the whole wide world is this one that you can whip up in no time at all. I got the recipe from my mum and I’m sure she got it from my gram. I remember my grandma making this in her amazing wooden ice cream maker (that she’s now passed onto me) and for some reason, she would put it in her tub. I think it was the only place that was out of the way? Haha, I’ll have to ask her- I just remember it being so loud, but she taught me that once it started to slow, it was ready to eat! I think it’s best to eat right away and really, who has the patience or willpower to wait? Now, if I were you… I’d make this for your Fourth of July BBQ- it’s the best way to end it. Thanks for reading, have a fAB day!
